Solo Leveling x Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint Pop-Up Coming to NYC
NEW YORK, NY (7/17/26) – Ize Press, the English print publisher of some of the most beloved Korean webcomics and novels, is excited to announce a special pop-up store featuring the fan-favorite fantasy franchises Solo Leveling and Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. The pop-up will be open from August 14 through August 30, 2026, at 238 E 6th Street in Manhattan, offering guests an immersive destination dedicated to two of the most influential Korean comic series in the world today.
The Ize Press Pop-Up Store is timed to coincide with the excitement surrounding Anime NYC, the largest anime convention on the East Coast. The store will be referred to as System Sync to represent both fandoms coming together to celebrate the two iconic fantasy stories that have captivated readers around the globe–with a nod to the world-governing systems that control the progression of each series.
Solo Leveling, the international juggernaut that has become one of the most successful webcomic and anime franchises of the decade, follows Jinwoo's rise from the world's weakest hunter to humanity's most powerful force. Meanwhile, Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint has earned widespread acclaim for its inventive blend of action, fantasy, and meta-storytelling, following Dokja as the world around him transforms into the very novel he has spent years reading. These two series are regarded as masterpieces by fans of dungeon crawlers, LitRPG sagas, and survival fantasy stories. Ize Press, and its parent company Yen Press, publishes the English editions of the comics, novels, and audiobooks.
Throughout the pop-up's run, visitors can browse a curated selection of books and merchandise inspired by both series, take photos with themed installations, and connect with fellow fans from around the world during one of New York City's busiest anime and manga weekends. Customers will be the first to shop Ize Press's original merchandise line, featuring exclusive, never-before-seen glow-in-the-dark Solo Leveling apparel as well as Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint shirts specially made for the System Sync pop-up.
