Krispy Kreme Announces Pokémon-Inspired Doughnuts

American doughnut chain Krispy Kreme announced last Thursday a line of Pokémon-inspired doughnuts in celebration of Pokémon's 30th anniversary. Krispy Kreme is featuring doughnuts based on the Pokémon Pikachu (lemon), Jigglypuff (strawberry), Charmander (caramel with chocolate filling), Bulbasaur (vanilla), and Squirtle (cotton candy), as well as the iconic Poké Ball (vanilla and chocolate icing with sprinkles).
Krispy Kreme will also offer its Original Glazed Gold Dots in a Pokémon cup. The cups will feature the same Pokémon as the doughnuts.
The Pokémon doughnuts and Original Glazed Gold Dots Pokémon cups went on sale at participating Krispy Kreme locations in the United States and Canada on August 18. The Pokémon Specialty Collection is available until September 13.
