Ani-One Asia Licenses Please Excuse My Younger Brothers, FotNS: Elegy of Ken-Oh's Army Grunts, Bananya At Home Part

Ani-One Asia announced last week that it has licensed the Please Excuse My Younger BrothersFist of the North Star: Elegy of Ken-Oh's Army Grunts, and Bananya At Home Party anime.

The television anime adaptation of Akira Ozaki's Uchi no Otōto-domo ga Sumimasen (Please Excuse My Younger Brothers) manga debuted on July 3. The first episode is already available on Ani-One Asia. Ani-One Asia describes the story:

It all began under one roof. During the spring break after her first year of high school, high school girl Ito moves when her mother remarries, and she's looking forward to living with her mom and new dad. However, waiting for her at her new home are her stepdad and four younger brothers! Gen, the unfriendly but family-oriented eldest son. Raku, the level-headed and pleasant second son. Shu, the rarely-seen homebody and third son. Rui, the always cheerful youngest son with irresistible puppy-dog eyes. A new eldest sister and her four unique younger brothers live a lively life in this sweet home romantic comedy!

Previously announced cast includes:

Hitoshi Nanba (Golden Kamuy) is directing the anime at Lay-duceMegumi Shimizu (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!) is handling series composition. Shiori Hiraiwa (Tomo-chan Is a Girl!) and Yōko Fukushima (#COMPASS2.0 ANIMATION PROJECT) are designing the characters. Gin of Busted Rose (Pop Team Epic; Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro) is composing the music.

The short anime of Hiroshi Kurao's Elegy for the Henchmen: Fist of the North Star (Hokuto no Ken: Ken'ō-gun Zako-tachi no Banka or Fist of the North Star: Elegy of Ken-Oh's Army Grunts) spinoff manga debuted with its first part on January 5. The second part will debut on July 6. Ani-One Asia will stream the first episode on July 6 at 7:05 p.m. GMT +8. Ani-One Asia describes the anime:

199X. The world is engulfed in nuclear flames, and just staying alive is a monumental struggle. Amidst this chaos, our protagonist, Nobu, finds a new job, and it's none other than the infamous "Ken-Oh Army"! In a workplace where the number of fatalities far exceeds the number of applicants, how long can Nobu manage to survive? From low-level minions disguised as old hags, to Warden Uighur of Cassandra, and the Holy Emperor's army's very own "scum-sanitizer", a parade of uniquely bizarre goons makes one appearance after another!


The cast includes Hiro Shimono as Nobu, Shinnosuke Ogami as Zaku, Masaaki Yano as Buzz, and Shinya Takahashi as the narrator.

Takuma Hase and Yūma Saitō are serving as technical directors on the anime at Do-Raku, and are also credited as the editors. Daisuke Miura is the animation director. Mirai Iwai is the art director and the color key artist. Sayoko Itō is the compositing director of photography. Seiji Miura is composing the music.

Bananya At Home Party, a new anime to celebrate the first Bananya  anime's 10th anniversary, will debut in Japan on July 10. Ani-One Asia will begin streaming the anime on July 10 at 8:00 a.m. GMT +8. Ani-One Asia describes the anime:

When I opened my eyes, I found myself in an unfamiliar world. Before me was "Bananya," a cat peeking out from inside a banana. I couldn't believe my eyes. For some reason, my own body was also a banana... "I've turned into a Bananya!?" Together with the Bananyas, I set out on a journey, passing through forests and crossing mountains, traveling here and there. A journey to find the "sparkle" that that little one lost.

Kyō Yatate (Sockie's Frontier Quest) is returning to direct the anime at TMS Entertainment Studio 6 and Lesprit. Yatate is also the anime's animation character designer and is in charge of storyboards. Masahiro Takata (Super Seisyun Brothers director, scriptwriter) is writing the scripts again. 

Q-LiA launched the Bananya mascot character in 2015. The second season aired in 2019. Ani-One Asia began streaming the anime in 2024. Bananya Around the World, the anime's third season, debuted in October 2024. Ani-One Asia streamed the anime.
