Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity Opening and Ending Songs by jo0ji & 9Lana – Out Now
THIS WEEKEND & IS AVAILABLE NOW ON HULU
NEW YORK, NY (July 27, 2026) – Milan Records has released the opening and ending theme songs to BLEACH: THOUSAND-YEAR BLOOD WAR – THE CALAMITY, the hugely-anticipated fourth and final season of the globally acclaimed anime series BLEACH. Available everywhere now is rising Japanese singer-songwriter jo0ji's opening theme “I-BULL” as well as virtuosic Japanese singer 9Lana's ending theme “RASEN.” BLEACH: THOUSAND-YEAR BLOOD WAR – THE CALAMITY debuted this past weekend and is available in the US on Hulu.
Debuting alongside its official music video, jo0ji's “I-BULL” arrives as the series opening theme and represents a new frontier for the Japanese singer-songwriter. Fresh off the release of his JUJUTSU KAISEN The Culling Game Part 1 ending theme, “Yoake no uta,” the track finds jo0ji embracing a more J-rock sound, evoking the high-octane energy of BLEACH's most iconic music.
Of opening theme “I-BULL,” jo0ji comments, “As someone who grew up watching BLEACH, I couldn't have been happier. I was deeply grateful to be entrusted with the theme song for the final cour, and I approached the songwriting with a strong sense of responsibility. BLEACH taught me many forms of courage—the courage to face challenges, to believe, to protect, and so much more. I wrote this song to express what courage means to me. I can't wait to hear it in the series!”
Meanwhile, Japanese songstress 9Lana contributes the emotionally charged “RASEN” as the show's ending theme. Combining powerful band-driven energy with sweeping orchestral strings, the track marks a first for 9Lana as she embraces a straightforward rock sound. Delivering a vocal performance that is both intense and deeply moving, the track channels emotion at its most unrestrained, a perfect companion to the epic scale and emotional intensity of BLEACH.
Of ending theme “RASEN,” 9Lana comments, “When I first heard that I had been chosen to perform the ending theme, I was genuinely surprised. At the same time, I remember feeling a sense of responsibility and determination, thinking, 'I'm going to give this everything I have.' Even now, it feels almost unreal to be involved with BLEACH through music. Inspired by the strength and courage that Ichigo and his friends show as they struggle, grow, and overcome adversity, I poured my heart into this song while holding close all the emotions and lessons that BLEACH has given me."
