Burnout Syndromes Celebrate Debut 10th Anniversary with a Special Haikyu!! Cover Album

Tokyo, Japan – To celebrate their debut 10th anniversary, Japanese rock band BURNOUT SYNDROMES released a special cover album dedicated to the Haikyu!! anime series.
BURNOUT SYNDROMES first made their debut with the song “FLY HIGH!!” which was specially written as the opening theme to Haikyu!!, which was then followed-up by “hikariare” and “PHOENIX.” Across three seasons of the show, their powerful rock sound became closely associated with some of the anime's most memorable moments, establishing Haikyu!! as an important part of the band's musical history.
Now, as they reach their debut 10th anniversary, BURNOUT SYNDROMES return to that shared history with a collection of covers celebrating the artists and songs that have shaped the Haikyu!! soundtrack.
The album features BURNOUT SYNDROMES' interpretations of iconic Haikyu!! theme songs originally performed by an impressive lineup of artists, including SPYAIR, NICO TOUCHES THE WALLS, Sukima Switch, tacica, CHICO with Honeyworks, and SUPER BEAVER.
The album's cover artwork also features specially drawn illustrations from the anime Haikyu!!, making the release a celebration of both the series and BURNOUT SYNDROMES' decade-long musical journey.
Additionally, a JUMP MV of BURNOUT SYNDROMES “PHOENIX” that features the Haikyu!! manga illustration also premiered today on August 19 at 7:00 PM JST, following the album release.

About BURNOUT SYNDROMES
BURNOUT SYNDROMES is a Japanese rock trio hailing from Osaka, renowned for their poetic songwriting and distinctive sound rooted in the aesthetics of the Japanese language. Since forming, BURNOUT SYNDROMES has pushed the limits of what a three-piece setup is capable of, combining intricate arrangements with emotionally resonant lyrics that reaches a global audience.
The group gained widespread recognition in 2016 with debut single “FLY HIGH!!,” which was selected as the opening theme for Haikyu!! Season 2. It marked the beginning of a strong connection between BURNOUT SYNDROMES and the anime world. Beyond Haikyu!!, their music has been featured in major anime titles such as Gintama and Dr. Stone, further expanding their international reach.
In addition to their core band activities, BURNOUT SYNDROMES have explored a variety of creative side projects, including producing and performing music as the virtual artist HXEROS SYNDROMES for the anime SUPER HXEROS, showcasing their versatility and eagerness to experiment.
