My Hero Ultra Rumble Season 18 Introduces Gentle Criminal, The Chivalrous Thief, as a Brand-New Playable Character
July 29, 2026 – Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. today announced the release of Season 18 for MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE and introduced Gentle Criminal, the chivalrous thief, as a brand-new playable character to the free 24-player Battle Royale game inspired by the hit anime series. The new season will also bring a major update to the battlefield with the arrival of Chaos City Ver. 02 as well as costumes and character illustrations. A modern-day gentleman thief with a flair for style and strategy, Gentle Criminal joins the battlefield as a Technical-type fighter, wielding his Quirk, Elasticity, to outmaneuver opponents with graceful precision. By imparting elasticity to the air around him, Gentle Criminal can dart freely across the map, deflect incoming attacks and launch creative aerial assaults that reward skillful play and positioning. His versatile move set includes Gently Arrow, which fires a feather pen projectile using the elasticity of the air; Gently Rebound, a defensive air barrier that blocks attacks and projectiles before countering with shockwaves and air bullets; and Gently Avant, a high-speed dash attack that can ricochet multiple times to extend its reach and damage. Players can also utilize his Special Action, Gently Trampoline, to create an air trampoline that launches allies into the air while sending opponents flying.
MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE Season 18 also brings a major update to the battlefield with the arrival of Chaos City Ver. 02. The Shopping District Area has been destroyed, making space for the addition of several new underground shops and exploration routes, while offering fresh opportunities for players to navigate the map and discover new combat strategies. In addition, players can look forward to a range of new costumes and character illustrations available throughout the season, alongside ongoing events and rewards that offer players even more ways to customize and strengthen their favorite heroes and villains. Players can also keep an eye out for exclusive seasonal content coming as the season progresses.
Fight to be the last ones standing in MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE, the 24-player free-to-play Battle Royale, now available on multiple platforms with cross-play compatibility. Fans can take on the roles of their favorite MY HERO characters, team up, synergize the unique Quirks and leap into the battlefield with fellow heroes and villains.
