Written and illustrated by Yūji Terajima, with translation by Abby Lehrke (Volumes 1-24) and Devon Corwin (Volumes 25-47) and lettering from Chas! PangburnAce of the Diamond became one of the most celebrated sports manga of its generation, earning a devoted global fanbase and a successful anime adaptation. The series follows aspiring pitcher Eijun Sawamura as he chases his dream of becoming the ace of one of Japan's most competitive high school baseball programs.


After a crushing middle school loss, Sawamura is recruited to attend Seidou High—one of Japan's most competitive baseball programs. Surrounded by elite players, including a prodigy catcher and fierce rival pitchers, he must fight to prove himself worthy of the mound.

As intense training and high-stakes competition push him to his limits, Sawamura begins his journey to become the team's ace. Ace of the Diamond Omnibus 1 collects the first three volumes of the hit baseball series. The first two volumes were originally released by Kodansha in 2006, and volume 3 was released in 2007. This is the first omnibus in a continuing collected series from Nakama Press.
